Rules
madeforbid.lol is a public leaderboard. Rank is the bid, nothing else.
How ranking works
- Bids are in whole US dollars, no cents.
- There's no fixed price to join. Any bid puts you on the board, at whatever rank that amount can hold. You don't need to beat #1 to be listed.
- To raise your own listing, submit the same website or post again. You only pay the difference between your current bid and your new bid. Nobody else can take your rank just by matching what you've already paid.
- Someone can take your rank by placing a higher bid than yours. You can always take it back by placing a higher one of your own.
- The board resets every Monday. When it resets, all bids clear and ranking starts over. Past weeks stay viewable on the history page.
- App Store, Play Store, GitHub, and similar platform links are matched by their exact path, so two different apps or repos never share a bid slot by accident.
- Tracking parameters (UTM tags, referral codes, etc.) are stripped from submitted links and ignored when matching listings.
What you can list
- A company or brand website.
- An X profile (@handle) or a direct link to a specific X post about your brand.
- This applies the same way across every category and every rank. There's no separate rule for higher ranks or specific categories.
- Chat and invite links are not accepted. This includes Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal, and similar. The board is for products and posts, not group or channel invites.
- Sexual or adult content is not accepted. This includes pornography, NSFW material, and adult platforms of any kind.
- Shortened links are not accepted. If you submit one, we resolve and list the actual destination URL instead.
- Any query parameters on your submitted URL are removed before listing. Affiliate, referral, or tracking links will not carry through.
Free campaign criteria
One listing a week can unlock a free creator campaign, run by @MadeForCollab: whoever is #1 overall, across the entire board and every category combined, not #1 within any single category. There's one campaign awarded per week, not one per category.
This is evaluated weekly, on the same Monday-to-Sunday cycle as the board reset. The overall #1 is decided when that cycle ends, not the moment a bid is placed.
Only the overall #1 gets the campaign, and a final bid of $300 or more is what unlocks eligibility for it. Reaching $300 by itself does not guarantee the campaign: if someone outbids that listing anywhere on the board before the week ends, they take overall #1, and the campaign, with it. Being #1 in your own category doesn't qualify on its own if a higher bid elsewhere holds overall #1. A bid under $300 still holds a rank the same as anywhere else on the board. It is just never eligible for the campaign, even if it ends the week at overall #1.
Which creators the week's #1 gets, and how many, depends on the final bid it was won at:
- Starter ($300 to $499): 10 X creators with 5,000+ followers each.
- Growth ($500 to $999): 10 X creators with 15,000+ followers each.
- Premium ($1000+): 10 or more X creators, sized up from Growth as the winning bid goes higher.
The counts and follower minimums above are the floor for each tier, not an exact promise. Who the actual creators are, and anything above the floor for a given bid, is decided by @MadeForCollab.
After you pay
- Your listing goes live immediately and is visible to everyone.
- Clicks route through our link, then forward to the URL or post you submitted, with tracking parameters stripped.
- A successfully completed payment is what claims your rank. Nothing else does.
Payment & chargebacks
By completing a purchase, you confirm you've reviewed the listing, category, and price, and you authorize the payment. If something's wrong with your purchase or listing, contact us at contact@madeforbid.lol before opening a payment dispute or chargeback. We'll sort it out directly and much faster than a dispute process will.
Nothing in these rules limits any right you have that can't legally be waived or excluded. These rules work alongside our Terms of Service.
